Shoulder surgery question?

i have to hold off my shoulder surgery until the beginning of the year due to my job. i am already taking Vicodin 7.5 with ibuprofen 800 and i take Oxycontin at night but only on Friday and Saturday when i don't have to be at work. any suggestions on how to handle the pain and stiffness until the beginning of the year. i have to have arthritic tissue taken out, a spur taken out, bone shaved down and they are going to cut my bicep tendon and "just let it fall down". i cant take the time off of work, i am the only one working and wont have any paid days off until January comes around again. my doc says i need two to six weeks off. but the pain is getting to be too much and my range of motion is diminishing. any help is appreciated as the pain meds i have now aren't helping.
