I tore my groin and it's RIGHT next to my privates. It is the tendon and not a muscle. what's this called?

Does this part have a name? I look up groin pain and people have pain in their inner thigh. My pain is much higher than the inner thigh and it's the tendon that connects the inner thigh w/ my body (centimeters from my private parts). It is not a muscle that's strained but it's more like a tendon.
